Chicken Hot Pot @ Kuchai Lama : Family Dinner (重庆鸡公煲)

Was eating out with my father in law, my sister and my hubby when my mother in law went to China. I haven't been to this restaurant ever since I gave birth.

Me & my hubby decided to take dad to try something new.

This is their MENU! Only have 5 dishes! It's more than enough, every dish is delicious. The pot size starts from 'SMALL', 'MEDIUM' to 'LARGE', spicy flavor starts from 'Little Spicy', 'Medium Spicy' to 'Super Spicy'. And one more thing special about all these dish is to finish up the food in the pot and then you can select a 'spicy' or 'non spicy' soup & turn it into shabu shabu/steamboat! You can select the side dish to go with the steamboat. (Eg,: vegetable, mushroom, pork slice, meat ball)

Dinosaur bones: Pork Ribs hot pot. Taste very nice, I love whatever that is spicy. :)

Curry Fish Head: Fish is fried until crispy golden brown and then added in the hot soup. I recommend this, delicious.

Signature Chong Qing Chick Hot Pot

Can you imagine, I had 2 bowls of big rice!! Scary huh!! @.@ the gravy is just so damn nice to go with the white rice, can't resist!!! We turn the hot pot chicken into shabu shabu, have pick some side dish - vegetables to go with it. No meat cos we had enough of it!! All meat!!

Overall, the food is not so bad. The only thing is, I guess it's quite expensive but it's OK to have it once in a while, spicy food can just upset your tummy.

I have waited too long & was too hungry, therefore..... I had chicken rice nearby my house. Aduiihaii!! Should have gone there with my empty tummy, only two of us and we couldn't finish the meal so we only able to order one type of dessert! *I know it sound disappointing* All the way there and only had one kind of dessert!! Arrggh, will definitely revisit NOSH again! Now you know why not much picture posted!!

Emonique @ Cyberjaya

This is a new restaurant I discovered from my colleague. I'm surprised to see such little cafe exist nearby our office area. The environment is very cozy, fusion combination of Asian & Vietnamese. It would be very relax to have a hot coffee here during rainy days.

I went there twice and only managed to capture few photos of the food we have. (Totally forgot, was thinking about the pending work in my mind...urggh, u know how annoying it is right?)

We did a little chat with the owner. She's a great big fans of Doraemon, and that's how she came up with the restaurant's name!  Dora"emon"  => "Emonique"

Emon Fish & Chips : The portion is quite big, ingredient is very fresh & most importantly, it's enough for a breast feeding mummy like me! :D

Sambal Chicken with rice : Spicy & sweet, I like this dish.

Eggplant Chicken with rice : The owner said this is Vietnamese dish, a little bit spicy but I personally think it's lack of taste.

Emon Chicken Chop: Served with fries, salad, and sauce (chilly & mayonnaise). For me, I think the dish is dry, I would prefer it serves with black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce.

Added on April 16,2014:
TBC : Something to do with the chicken chop slice + spiral + shredded cheese & bolognese sauce.

 Black Sauce Chicken with rice

 Mushroom Chicken with rice

 Spicy Szechuan Noodle
Jelly

Red Bean Soup
( Lunch set includes a glass of green tea and a dessert. Dessert is different everyday. )

The MENU is very much depends on each day. It will be written on a small blackboard & will bring to each table by the waitress for food ordering. (Only have 1 small blackboard, I doubt they will be very slow if one bunch of customer come in at same time >.<! )

This is another MENU for tea break. Select any drinks at normal price and with RM1 add on, you can select one of the dessert.

Apple Strudel, Banana Muffin, Chocolate Roll

Another MENU for drinks.

Environment
A bunch of Doraemon collections

A corner of travelling magazines

Very warm & home like environment, you can see Doraemon everywhere!

A corner to relax with a cup of coffee and read magazines

The unfinished wall, I like the design, very nice!

Lunch @ Pasta Zanmai Paradigm Mall + English Afternoon Tea @ The Majestic Hotel

As promised, I went for a English afternoon tea on March 24, 2014 with my BFF. I have been busy recently, don't really have time to blog but I have taken a lot pictures of food and restaurant that I've been. Will slowly get all these update in my blog.

So, on that very lovely Monday, I meet up with my BFF for lunch at Paradigm mall so that later I can do a little bit shopping for my girl's coming 1st birthday party. We had our lunch at Pasta Zanmai, I didn't know that Paradigm mall had all these restaurant like Zanmai Sushi, Pasta Zanmai, Hokkaido.... hmm, I'll definitely visit again.

Here's some photos of the restaurant & the food we had :)

 Pasta Zanmai
I don't quite remember this, I guess it's pasta with clams & squids. It taste a little bit spicy, I kind of like it.

It was served together with shashimi (lunch set)

This is what we both ordered - "Oyster Shooter"! Umm, I'm an oyster fans but I'm not sure why this oyster taste a little bit "fishy". We ended up asking for few slice of lemon & sprinkle the lemon juice on it to cover the taste.

This is my set - Lobster Pasta (it was served together with miso soup & fruits)

Orchid Conservatory - The Majestic Hotel
This is the crystal sugar - dip into your tea or coffee if you want it to be sweet.

TADA! The 3 tier afternoon tea set!!

 The top is dessert

Second layer, you have scones. I like the berry jam, very nice!

The bottom, this is where we start from  - bread & sandwiches

 Women's favourite ...teehee....

This is different from Carcosa, they served only Earl Grey tea and coffee. So I choose tea :)

 You can even refill!

Did you notice the one at the bottom, see picture below :)

TADA! Fried food!~ It's really filling to have all these food, we barely finish the whole thing.

So this is how the conservatory room looks like, surrounded with orchid! I can smell the fragrance of orchids, so nice!! :)

Overall, me & my friend are really happy. We both enjoyed the tea session very much and look forward to visit again. I can't remember the exact amount for both of us but per person is RM88++ and so I paid my friend RM100 out of the total bill she paid.
